Easter is almost upon us, so this week I have some new and delicious recipes that will fit perfectly, including a savory bread pudding that features asparagus, mushrooms and leeks, and a moist and sweet pineapple cake that uses just a handful of everyday ingredients.

Savory Spring Bread Pudding
This savory spring bread pudding makes good use of day-old artisanal bread, combining it with fresh in-season asparagus, leeks, mushrooms and fresh parsley. This makes a great brunch offering for Easter or any other special occasion.

Pineapple Cake
This pineapple sheet cake is simple to make and delicious to eat. It's very similar to carrot cake, only without the carrots. This moist and delicious cake is perfect for Easter. Enjoy it with or without frosting.
