| | Once in awhile, I hit a real breakthrough. Why would I boil almond meal? Well, something I chanced to hear on Iron Chef America in "Battle Almond" got me started on a series of experiments. In this case I started with more ingredients, like butter and cream, but then I realized that all you really need is almond meal (flour), salt, and water. Add some Parmesan cheese, and you've got a decent substitute for the Italian classic. From there, the possible variations are endless! Please try it and let me know what you think!
