From Fiona Haynes, Your Guide to Low Fat Cooking.
I'm curious: Why do you eat low fat? For some, it's not a choice, it's a necessity. Doctors still recommend low-fat diets to heart patients or those with high cholesterol. If you have gallbladder problems, or no gallbladder, you need to eat low fat. Share your story and compare notes with others who eat this way.

Share Your Story: Why Do You Eat Low Fat?
OK, I'll go first. I've eaten low fat for many years. It's been a way of keeping my weight at bay, and I honestly feel it's a healthy way to eat. My cholesterol numbers, triglycerides, blood pressure, and BMI are all considered either very good, good or normal. I don't eat an ultra-low-fat diet. I try and budget my fat calories and use them on healthy fats such as those found in nuts, seeds and fish. My downfall? Chocolate.

The Skinny on Skinless Chicken Breasts
Skinless chicken breasts are much-maligned. They often end up dry and bland, but don't blame the chicken! Skinless chicken breasts can be succulent and flavorful; you just have to treat 'em right. Find out why it's worth eating skinless chicken breasts, and what you can do to make them tender and delicious.

Chicken and Leek Soup
Nothing beats a warm bowl of chicken soup to banish the winter blahs. This chicken soup has a generous dose of vegetables, principally leeks, mushrooms and carrots. It reminds me of the Cock-a-Leekie Soup I had as a child growing up in the UK, only without the traditional prunes!

10 Warming Winter Recipes
When the days are short and the nights cold and long, it's tempting to indulge in some fattening comfort foods. Try these low fat comfort foods instead. They're hearty and delicious.
