I have given you some added challenges as well as a new cardio assignment to try something completely different. Don't be afraid to branch out and do something you never thought you'd do (bellydancing anyone?). As always, modify as needed and keep up the great work! | |

Week 6 | |
This week, you're doing the same strength training program you've been doing for the last 3 weeks, only with the added challenge of an extra set. By now, you should be doing 3 sets of each exercise. Your cardio workouts will also look familiar--you'll be adding some time to your previous workouts and your challenge this week is to try something completely different. The nutritional goals this week are simple--all you have to do is visit the sites I've recommended to learn more about dieting, healthy snacks and more. Click on the link above to get started. | |

Day 36 | |
Focus: Cardio Interval | |
This week, you're continuing with your advanced treadmill interval workout. Remember that interval workouts involve increasing your intensity for short periods of time and then recovering. You'll also learn more about comparing weight loss diets and visit a new site where you can track your workouts and eating...for free! | |
Day 37 | |
Focus: Strength Training | |
Today, you'll do your total body workout but progress by adding a set (you should be up to 3 now, although you should modify if that's too much). | |
Day 38 | |
Focus: Endurance | |
Choose one of the endurance workouts I've provided or do your own thing--whatever makes you happy! You'll also get some tips on how to cut 100 calories (without even noticing it) as well as a new website of the day--the Weight Loss Forum. | |
Day 39 | |
Focus: Strength Training | |
Gee, is it already time for strength training again? Yep, it is. You'll also be actively resting while learning more about why I don't like diets all that much. The website you'll visit today gives you some great tips on shutting up that little negative voice inside your head that tries to make you skip your workouts. Enjoy! | |
Day 40 | |
Focus: Trying Something New | |
Yes, today is the day, friends. Your assignment is to try something new. It has to be something you wouldn't ordinarily do or it doesn't count. That could mean going for a walk (if you usually go to the gym) or playing a game of tennis (if you usually do something solitary). Whatever it is, have a little fun. You'll also have your optional mat workout and you'll learn about what can happen if you don't eat enough. If that's not enough to keep you busy, you can always visit the website of the day. | |

Focus: Variety and Endurance | |
Once again, you have your choice of cardio workouts. I've also pointed you to a great website for healthy recipe ideas and a (slightly) cheesy motivational website that I love, for some reason or another. If you've made it this far, congratulations! You're halfway there and I hope you're getting stronger. | |
