From Christine Luff, your Guide to Running & Jogging
Whenever I have a bad run or race, I try to figure out what went wrong, so I don't make the same mistakes. But sometimes it can be tough to break certain bad running habits.

Common Running Mistakes -- And How to Avoid Them
Here are some of the most common running mistakes and how you can avoid injuries and other issues.

How to Keep a Training Log
Getting rid of a bad running habit can be tough, but it's helpful to write about running in a training journal or running blog. For me, the act of writing it down makes me more aware of my mistake and, when I review my notes about runs and races, I'm reminded not to make that same mistake.

How to Do Deep Belly Breathing
I often skip or rush my warm-up, usually because I'm just eager to get started. Sometimes that leads to a side stitch because my breathing is off. Practicing deep belly breathing can ward off those annoying side stitches.

What Are Your Bad Running Habits?
What about you? Are you guilty of any bad running habits? Do you forget to stretch after your runs? Run too much, too soon? Do you not hydrate properly? Sometimes skip breakfast before a long run? Share your bad running habits and your strategies for eliminating them.
