Every now and then a fitness trend comes along that completely blows my mind. In recent memory, the Shake Weight had that honor but it has officially been usurped by a new trend: Toning shoes. You've probably seen them (or maybe even tried them) - exercise shoes with thick, rounded soles that supposedly tone your glutes and thighs more than regular shoes. Well, those claims have been debunked, although these shoes may have other benefits for some exercisers.

I guess I can go back to waiting for the next fitness trend to hit. Perhaps a Shake Toning Shoe that jiggles off the fat?
