What a bad day.

Have you ever had one of those days? You know where it just seems
nothing goes your way.

From the moment you hear the alarm it's one-thing-after-another.

Flat tire, phone software crashes, more court room drama, and on it
goes.

I could go on a rant about all the crap, but I won't.

Because the thing I always try to remember. No matter how bad I
think I have it, someone else has it much worst.

Gratitude. It can be a very calming emotion.

Sometimes things don't go as planned, and that's OK. Variety is the
spice of life, and sometimes the unexpected opens doors we would
have never seen otherwise.

I know today my friend was having a similar day. They had been
preparing for months to open the doors for their new product, and
nothing seemed to happen the way they wanted.

It wasn't for lack of preparation. In fact everything was ready to
roll weeks ahead of time. But call it fate, the internet Gods, or
just Murphy's Law.

The doors didn't open as planned. Uhg.

The reason I tell you this is because in spite being prepared
months ahead of time, and having the details nailed down like a
Houston launch mission. Still there were problems.

And I'm sure if you visit the page, you will notice something
funny. It is a course on using Video, but the page has all text.

In spite of the technical snafus that I'm sure will be fixed soon,
you need to check this out. Video is the future of the internet,
and I am still kicking myself for not getting on board with it
years ago.

Tomorrow I will be telling you a little bit more about my sons new
webshow in the works and ShamWow baby! Plus how you can get my
personal blueprint to dominate buyer keywords using simple little
videos.

Talk soon,

From Laura Dolson, your Guide to Low Carb Diets
A long time ago (even before the Web!) I was on an internet parenting group (text only!) and there was a mom with a 6-month old daughter with horrible seizures, which was eventually cured with an extremely controversial diet treatment. It included feeding her baby cream instead of milk, and it sounded just crazy at that that time. Now that treatment is no longer controversial, and in last week's New York Times magazine there was an article by a dad who's son is on this diet. It is fascinating! Also, the December Holiday Season is here! Hannuakah starts this week and the general party atmosphere has begun everywhere! I'll be bringing you low-carb ways to enjoy the season throughout the month of December. Laura

Low-Carb, High-Fat Diet for Epilepsy
Did you know that a low-carb, high-fat diet has become one of the standard options for childhood epilepsy, and may be helpful in other neurological diseases such as Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease?

Alcoholic Beverages on a Low-Carb Diet
Whether it's wine with dinner, a glass of brew in front of the football game, or a pitcher of margaritas among friends, most of us raise a glass from time to time. Is this a good idea for low-carb eaters? It depends!

How to Make Low-Carb Latkes
Hannukah is almost here! Here's how I make lower-carb latkes.

From Paige Waehner, your Guide to Exercise
Coming back to work after a long Thanksgiving holiday can generate conflicting feelings. On the one hand, it's kind of a relief not to have to eat turkey for the umpteenth day in a row. On the other hand, it's Monday and you're at work. Enough said.

I told my cranky husband this morning that getting back to his regular workout routine would make him feel better about things. I won't repeat his response, but suffice it to say that he disagreed. If you're feeling cranky, too, try recommitting to your workouts. If that doesn't work, I recommend a nap.
