It's time for graduations, end-of-school-year celebrations, and Father's Day. Yesterday was my husband's birthday, too. Does lots of celebrating mean lots of carbs? Absolutely not! We can sail through with normal blood sugar and still have a great time! Have a wonderful weekend - Laura

Low-Carb Party Foods
Are you planning a party, or going to one? You'll be happy to know there are lots of different party foods that are low in carbohydrate. Here are some of my favorites.

Sugar-Free Cocktail Sauce
Shrimp or crab cocktail is a great low-carb choice - but did you know that bottled cocktail sauce can have as much as 6 grams of carb in a tablespoon? This has just one and is just as good. Plus you can mix it up in two minutes.

Low-Carb Cocktails
Time for a mojito, margarita, or strawberry daiquiri! Of course, you can also make them without the alcohol. If you're new to low-carb eating, check out this information on Alcoholic Beverages on a Low-Carb Diet.

Low-Carb Spice Cake
I made this cake, minus the honey, for my husband's birthday cake, with a cream cheese frosting.
