It was 1999. I had a Harley Davidson on order, and I was about to purchase the smallest laptop I could find. A Sony Vaio for $4k with only a 40gig hard drive.
Boy how things have changed...
I had dreams of cruising around, with a laptop in tow, as I hopped on the internet at my various stops.
Well it didn't turn out quite like I expected...
That's why I wrote the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Internet.
