Old School SEO

The year was 2004, Google, Yahoo, and MSN were so easy
to rank in. It was ridiculous.

Back then I was playing the AdSense game, and making
really good money at it. An $8 investment in a domain
name could easily make you $50-100 per day for 3 months.

Once I got the bug, I just couldn't stop making websites.

My personal record for hand built websites in one day
was 27. This was tough. 18 hours of non-stop building.

In fact, I was staring at the screen so long for so many
days I got radiation irritation around my eyes, and they
swelled up. So I had to take a break. Doc's orders.

That's when it hit me. I need to automate this process.

I mean all I was doing was repeating the exact same
motions time and time again. It was crazy.

This is what lead me to create my own personal website
builder. A system that had one form, a place for keywords,
and a button.

With this system I was able to go from 27 per day to
300 websites per hour. As you can imagine this made all
the difference in the world.

But here is the truth. The gravy train with Google,
Yahoo, and MSN ended in 2005. My system wasn't pulling
as it once was.

Eventually I retired it...
