| | I have long assumed that the American Diabetes Association could not go on forever recommending that diabetics eat a lot of carbohydrate. It has been truly heartbreaking, as people's health has been hanging in the balance over this issue. But a few days ago, I started reading some articles in the latest issue of their magazine which seemed to be saying that a low-carb diet was a viable option for diabetics! And when I checked their Web site, the messages about carbs seemed to have changed. I know an organization such as the is not going to say "we were wrong", but I think this is the beginning of a slow shift in the first direction. Woohoo!
