How To Manage Stress

From Elizabeth Scott, M.S., your Guide to Stress Management
This week's theme is "less is more!" This week, and for the rest of the month, a focus on eating less, spending less, and DOING less can help you stress less. The following resources can help you to make these goals a habit, so you can actually enjoy the holiday season more, and start the new year off right: with confidence and enthusiasm rather than mild remorse. You can also share your best tips in comments and Reader Response articles, and share tips on Facebook and Twitter. Enjoy your week! -Elizabeth

(Here's a starter: agree ahead of time to limit gift prices to a certain amount, like #15, and see how creative you can get and still stay within the limit!)

Combat Holiday Overeating
Why do we tend to overeat during the holiday season, and what can we do to curb these tendencies so we don't have "eater's remorse" in January? Read on, and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Prevent Yourself From Feeling Overwhelmed...
The key to a less-stressed holiday? Well, just as each snowflake is unique, but basically similar, your approach to holiday stress relief may be unique to you, but basically this: relax! Here are some ways in which you can do this: relax!
