From Christine Luff, your Guide to Running & Jogging
It's been unseasonably warm in my area, so it's been relatively easy to get motivated to run outside (in a T-shirt and shorts in the middle of winter!) But I know it can't last forever and soon I'll need a little extra motivation to run in the bone-chilling cold or on the treadmill.

From Fiona Haynes, your Guide to Low Fat Cooking
Valentine's Day candies have been in the store since, oh, the day after Christmas, so I don't think I'm being too premature in thinking ahead to Valentine's Day. If you would like to indulge in some lighter sweet treats, I have a few that might tempt you.

Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries
Keep things sweet and simple with some chocolate dipped strawberries. The key is to make sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping them.

Mini Lemon Angel Food Cakes
Made with egg whites, these mini angel food cakes are fat-free. Serve them with perhaps a little homemade lemon icing (made from powdered sugar and lemon juice), or as a luscious-looking dessert with strawberries and a little dark-chocolate syrup drizzled over.

Low Fat Panna Cotta
Converting an indulgent recipe like Panna Cotta into a low fat one obviously means making a few adjustments. Panna Cotta is usually made with cream, which accounts for its delightfully silky texture. But if you want a lighter version, this very low fat panna cotta does the trick.

Valentine Meringue Cookies
For a perfect fat-free Valentine's Day treat, try these light-as-air meringue cookies. For best results, separate the eggs while cold, making sure that not a trace of of yolk contaminates them. Leave the whites for 20 minutes or so before beating them. Make sure the whisks and bowl are clean and free from grease before use.
